Start your day with a cup of our Single O signature ‘Killerbee’ blend from The Bakery, at the back of The Boathouse Home store. A warm croissant with our house-made jam or a pizza bread is a delicious way to fill up before a day of adventure in Palm Beach.

Pick up a woven hat or a turkish towel from The Boathouse Home store, filled with beachside homewares and interiors as well as items for a day at the beach!

Palm Beach and a summer’s day go together like bread and butter, and what better way to make the most of your visit than learning to surf. Manly Surf School offer lessons in the iconic Kiddie’s Corner (the Southern corner of Palm Beach) for beginners to experienced. If you aren’t so keen to dip your toes in the surf break, head around to the calmer waters of Station Beach or Snapperman Beach.

Palm Beach offers some of the best walking tracks on the Northern Beaches. Park at the ferry wharf carpark on Barrenjoey Road and walk over the hill on the new pathway towards Palm Beach Golf Course, stopping along the way to take in the views of Pittwater and the palms above. For the more adventurous, Barrenjoey Headland has a walking track up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse, offering world-class views of the Northern Beaches, the Central Coast and the Hawkesbury River.

Feeling peckish for lunch? The Boathouse Palm Beach is known for its Beer Battered Flathead + Chips, or if you are after something lighter opt for the Grilled Barramundi or Boathouse Salad. While away the early afternoon watching the boats pass by, you may also catch the seaplane taking off in front of you!

There is no people-watching spot quite like Barrenjoey House, a heritage listed restaurant and guest-house opposite the ferry wharf in Palm Beach. You will feel like you have stepped into a beach house, with shelves filled with coral and tables of fresh flowers. Sip on your favourite cocktail (happy hour is 4pm - 6pm weekdays) and make your way through the seafood menu. The lobster flatbread is a must try!

Feeling too exhausted to drive home after a day by the water? Why not head upstairs at Barrenjoey House and rest your head in one of our seven guest rooms. After a cup of tea or a cocktail in our shared lounge, fall asleep in one of our air-conditioned rooms and enjoy your favourite Netflix series.

Until next time, Palm Beach!
